On February 26th, Anhui Province New Energy Vehicle and Intelligent Networked Vehicle Industry Chain Development Promotion Meeting was held in Hefei, where the "14th Five-Year Plan for High-Quality Development of Automobile Industry in Anhui Province" was released. As the mainstay of the development of new energy vehicles and intelligent connected vehicles in Anhui Province, Ankai bus attended the conference and signed an important strategic cooperation agreement with Hefei Zhixingzhe Technology Co., Ltd. in the field of autonomous driving, in order to contribute Ankai strength to promoting the development of new energy and intelligent and connected buses continuously.

In order to further promote the R&D and operation promotion of autonomous driving technology, Ankai bus and Hefei  Zhixingzhe Technology Co., Ltd. will carry out in-depth cooperation, including building Robobus autonomous driving technology and commercial operation system, Robobus product development, etc. Both parties will invest in the latest technology and the core achievement,jointly carry out autonomous driving technology cooperation on Ankai's existing models and future planned models, and develop new intelligent Robobus models for parks, semi-open roads, test sites and open road operations.

Ankai bus has rich technical reserve and mature operation experience in the field of self-driving buses. Since 2017, when Ankai driverless buses were first put into operation on the open roads of Shenzhen, Ankai has continued to update and upgrade its driverless technology and has put them into operation on the open roads of Shenzhen, Wuhan, Tianjin, Macau and many other cities, and exported them to Japan to show off its "Made in China" technologies. In 2020, Anhui Province opened the first 5G open road demonstration line for self-driving automobiles, and Ankai driverless buses were put into regular operation in this line to support the commercialization of driverless vehicles, so as to further realize the transformation of intelligent network-connected vehicle technology.

In this promotion meeting, Ankai bus also exhibited its latest achievement in the field of hydrogen fuel - Ankai E9 hydrogen fuel city bus. This high-end intelligent bus, which Ankai has built and developed, is based on the design concepts of light weight, integration, intelligence, low hydrogen consumption, wide temperature range and platform, and has the technical advantages of high efficiency, strong power, low hydrogen consumption, short hydrogen refueling time, long range and low floor, all-channel, large passenger capacity and intelligent network connection,and its performance has achieved to first-class level both in China and international.

As an important power engine to seize the development track of new energy vehicles in Anhui Province, the development of Ankai bus in the field of hydrogen-fueled buses is also remarkable. Up to now, the Ankai hydrogen-fueled buses put into operation in the hydrogen bus line in Lu'an City, Anhui Province, have operated for more than 130,000 km, and the whole bus is stable and reliable with excellent overall performance. The rich experience of demonstration operation will help Lu'an City to move further towards the core development area of hydrogen energy and fuel cell industry in Anhui Province, and provide reference for further promotion and application of hydrogen fuel cell buses in Anhui Province and even in China.
