Recently, the first TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) project in Jinhua's urban area was officially launched, accompanied by the much-anticipated on-demand bus service. Ankai Bus, with its micro-circulation Sunshine Bus E60, is deeply involved in this urban transportation transformation, helping Jinhua build an integrated network of "rail transit + commerce + residential areas + public transport." This not only provides citizens with a more convenient and comfortable urban living experience but also injects new momentum into enhancing the area's value and supporting Jinhua's high-quality development.
As the primary vehicle for Jinhua's on-demand bus service, the selection of the Ankai E60 is no coincidence. It precisely aligns with the core requirements of TOD projects: integration, micro-circulation, and intelligence. With its compact 5.99-meter body, this agile and charming micro-circulation bus can flexibly navigate between Jinhua's core urban streets, residential communities, and rail transit stations, perfectly suiting the on-demand bus service's operational model of "fixed stops, flexible routes, and demand-responsive scheduling."
It not only undertakes the crucial task of providing "bus boarding right after exiting the station" within Jinhua's TOD project, connecting key locations such as Huhaitang, Zhejiang Normal University, Jinhua Railway Station, Shimao City Plaza, Hengda Department Store, Jindong Wanda Plaza, People's Square, and Guzicheng but also operates with zero emissions and low noise thanks to its pure electric powertrain, resonating with Jinhua's low-carbon urban development philosophy.
Notably, the E60 features a low-entry, single-step design, making it easy for the elderly and children to board and alight. Integrated with an intelligent connected system, it seamlessly connects with the "Jinhua Smooth Travel Center" mini-program and the DiDi Chuxing app, enabling citizens to book rides with one click, vehicles to respond within seconds, and routes to be dynamically optimized. With an affordable fare of 3 RMB per trip, it offers convenient "doorstep-to-destination" service, effectively bridging the "last mile" of urban travel.
In fact, this is not the first collaboration between Ankai and Jinhua. In September 2025, the Ankai E60 was transformed into the "Wuzhou Red" themed bus, debuting on Jinhua's "Smooth Travel, Ancient City Leisurely Tour" tourist line. With its unique one-bus-one-theme design, it incorporates local cultural elements such as Jinhua ham, Wu Opera, and Wanfo Pagoda into its exterior, connecting iconic landmarks like Guzicheng and Bayong Tower, and becoming a mobile showcase of Jinhua's urban charm.

Beyond Jinhua, multiple Ankai models, including the E60, E85, and G65E, are widely used across various travel scenarios in numerous cities nationwide, covering micro-circulation shuttles, cultural tourism lines, commuter travel, and more. This deep involvement in building Jinhua's smart travel network not only highlights Ankai's robust technology and product advantages in the micro-circulation bus sector but also promotes the effective implementation of the integrated "rail transit + on-demand bus" travel model locally, making convenient, green, and intelligent travel experiences accessible to more citizens.
From Jinhua's cultural tourism lines and on-demand bus services to transportation upgrades in cities across the country, Ankai Bus is deeply integrating into the fabric of urban transportation with innovative products and solutions, helping cities transition toward more efficient, low-carbon, and human-centric transportation systems. Looking ahead, Ankai will continue to drive innovation through technology, remain user-centered, deepen its expertise in smart micro-circulation, assist more cities in weaving comprehensive smart travel networks, and jointly steer urban development toward a smarter and more livable future.
