Recently, Hefei, the provincial capital of Anhui province, officially released its Guidelines on Testing and Operation of Autonomous Driving Vehicles. According to the Guidelines, the city will open a testing area of no less than 100 square kilometers and testing routes of no less than 400 km. Having successfully obtained the operation permit, Ankai autonomous driving buses are fully prepared to embark on a brand new journey, further strengthening their market presence.

Since its debut in Shenzhen in 2017, Ankai autonomous driving bus has gone through several rounds of technological upgrades and has so far made its way to many cities across China, including Shenzhen, Wuhan, Tianjin, Hefei and Macao, etc. In addition, it has been working smoothly in Japan, gaining wide publicity in the overseas market.

As a visionary enterprise, Ankai has been making relentless efforts to introduce the latest technologies on its vehicles, including AI, big data, cloud computing, internet of things (IoT), etc.

With more streamlined body structures, Ankai autonomous driving buses all have futuristic looks and achieve high agility. They are all equipped with laser radars, millimeter-wave radars, GPS, cameras, etc., all of which help vehicles perform a number of complex tasks, including avoiding pedestrians and barriers, recognizing traffic lights, making stops at bus stations, making turns, etc. In addition, they are monitored in real-time for their operation and more responsive dispatch, further promoting their coordination with drivers and road conditions.
